STEREO Weekly Meeting Minutes for 2007-04-24 (Week 17) ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * Unattended track operations start April 30th. Concept of Operations document has been sent out, and is also available on Stereo Data Server under teams/moc. * Operations schedule on SDS under teams/moc has been updated to include HGA calibrations, etc. * MOPs considering changing description of opening instrument RT commanding, and asks if any instrument team has software which depends on the exact wording of this item? INSTRUMENT AND SPACECRAFT STATUS -------------------------------- * All subsystems on both spacecraft are nominal. The Ahead spececraft is currently operating on IMU #2. DISCUSSION AND OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS ------------------------------------- Week 16 * Station 15 had a transmitter failure on day 108 during the Ahead pass. Switched to another antenna, and continued with the pass. Dropped about 2 minutes worth of playback data. * Day 111 the STEREO MOC was evacuated because of a potential problem with the 60 ft antenna near the building. The Ahead and Behind passes on day 112 were taken remotely in the backup MOC without any problems. * Ahead is still on backup IMU. * Average daily date rate over the week was 7.4 Gbits on Ahead and 8.9 Gbits on Behind. * SECCHI GT offpoints on both spacecraft on day 109. * SECCHI calibration roll on Behind on day 107 * Tested backup IMU on Behind on day 109. Week 17 * Quite a few additional tracks: 4 on Ahead and 6 on Behind * Ephemeris update on Behind on Sunday to Monday rollover. * SECCHI mechanism spin test on Wednesday, Ahead at 20:00 UT and Behind at 14:00 UT. Test will take about 15 minutes and will involve the polarizers, quadrant selectors, and shutters. Week 18 * Start unattended tracks on April 30. Attended track will be on Wednesday. * Early Friday, start of SECCHI campaign. Extra 3 hour tracks for SECCHI data only about 12 hours after regular track. Other * DSN schedules for weeks 19,20,21,22 are available. Attended tracks on Wednesday each week. Week 22 not completely settled out because of upcoming DAWN launch. * SECCHI campaign ends day 137.
