STEREO Weekly Meeting Minutes for 2012-02-28 (Week 09) ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * None INSTRUMENT and SPACECRAFT STATUS -------------------------------- * All subsystems on both spacecraft are nominal. DISCUSSION AND OPERATIONS CONSTRAINTS ------------------------------------- Week 8 (Feb 20-26) * On day 052 (Feb 21), during the DSS-14 support for Ahead, turbo decoder lock was lost briefly beginning at 1451z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of 102 frames of SSR data. See DR# N107950 for more information. * On day 054 (Feb 23), during the DSS-14 support for Ahead, the transmitter tripped off-line at 1908z. The alarm was cleared and the uplink was re-established at 1935z. This anomaly resulted in the loss of 27 minutes of commanding and two-way tracking data and several minutes of SSR data for each instrument. See DR# G112396 for more information. * The average daily SSR playback volume was 5.4 gigabits for Ahead, and 5.0 gigabits for Behind. Week 9 (Feb 27-Mar 4) * Realtime telemetry was lost during the Behind pass using station 43 last night (Feb 27) due to heavy rain. Pointers were repositioned to recover most of the data. * Ahead was scheduled to be using station 14 during the telecon (Feb 28), but station 14 has a pointing problem, and it is likely that most or all of the pass will be lost. This is likely to lead to significant data loss, possibly as much as a day or more. Science partitions are not expected to be emptied until the end of the week. * Ahead has 70 meter passes on Tuesday, Feb 28 (D14, possibly lost), Friday, Mar 2 (D43), and Saturday, Mar 3 (D43 at 720 kbps).
