Close approach of Parker Solar Probe to STEREO Ahead, 4
November 2019
This figure shows the close approach of Parker Solar Probe (orange) to
STEREO Ahead (red) on 4 November 2019. The two spacecraft approach each
other to within 0.06 AU of each other. The days leading up to closest approach
are also of interest due to the orientation of the Parker spiral.
Note that the projected location of STEREO Behind is also plotted.
However, that spacecraft is not currently operational. Follow
