Parker Solar Probe encounter with Venus, 26 December
2019
This figure shows the orbital configuration of STEREO Ahead (red) during
the encounter of Parker Solar Probe (orange) with the planet Venus on 26
December 2019. The dashed orange line represents the orbit following the
encounter.
Note that the projected location of STEREO Behind is also plotted.
However, that spacecraft is not currently operational. Follow
