This figure shows the orbital configuration of STEREO Ahead (red) during the encounter of Parker Solar Probe (orange) with the planet Venus on 20 February 2021. The dashed orange line represents the orbit following the encounter.

Note that the projected location of STEREO Behind is also plotted. However, that spacecraft is not currently operational. Follow this link for more information.

Also shown is the projected position of Solar Orbiter (purple) based on a February 2020 launch date.
